    Program of the presiding EU Trio to have clear added value

    The joint program of the Trio presiding over the EU Council, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Malta, should be concise, strategic and have a clear added value. The three countries agreed on this during consultations in Vallette, Malta on 3-4 March. Slovakia was represented by Peter Javorčík, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

    State Secretary Burian receives credentials from the Ambassador of PDRK

    Peter Burian, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, received Kim Pyong Il, Ambassador Designate of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea to the Slovak Republic, resident in Prague, on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials today (4 March 2015).

    Visit by State Secretary Burian to Japan is scheduled

    “I strongly believe my visit to Japan will be a reiteration of further development of political dialogue between Slovakia and Japan and will contribute to fostering the present trend of successfully developing trade and economic relations,” stated Peter Burian, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, in a meeting with Akio Egawa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Slovakia, today (3 March 2015).
