    Minister Lajčák says after meeting with Canadian partner: “We are interested in democratic Ukraine succeeding”

    Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, met today (April 23, 2014) with John Baird, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, who is on a diplomatic trip in central and east European countries.

    State Secretary Burian holds talks with Elena Kupchina, Deputy Foreign Minister of Republic of Belarus

    Peter Burian, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, received a delegation led by Elena Kupchina, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus today (22 April 2014). The partners followed up on the dialogue which had been launched at their level during last year’s visit of the state secretary to Minsk.

    Slovakia presents model of cooperation for civil society in Mexico conference

    Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, is participating in the First High-Level Meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation today and tomorrow (15–16 April 2014). The meeting in Mexico is considered as one of the key events on the way to setting up new development architecture after 2015.
