Lajčák: “Preliminary results of Ukrainian elections give cause for moderate optimism"

Our assistance to Ukraine must have goal-oriented contents and a legible form so that it can balance the painfulness of the reforms expected from the Government in Kiev. Not only does the future of Ukraine depend on this, but also the Eastern Partnership project as a whole. It is in our – Europe and Slovakia – interest to see that our direct neighbor as well as other countries to the east of us – are democratic and prosperous.
