State Secretary Burian attended International Humanitarian Donor Conference for Syria in Kuwait
On January 30, 2013, State Secretary of the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry of the Slovak Republic Peter Burian attended the International Humanitarian Donor Conference for Syria in Kuwait, chaired by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and aimed at pledges of the UN member states for humanitarian aid to Syria.

Slovakia will continue its close cooperation with the USA in Afghanistan
