State Secretary Korčok receives the ambassadors of Vietnam and Indonesia
We engage in lively bilateral relations with Vietnam and we can see mutual willingness to develop them, with special emphasis on economic and commercial cooperation and also cooperation in the multilateral area. This was stated today (28 September) by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Korčok, during the farewell visit by Ho Dac Minh Nguyet, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Slovakia. Korčok thanked the ambassador for her personal contribution to maintaining mutual relations and wished her much success in her next mission.
Subsequently, Korčok welcomed the new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Slovakia, Adiyatwidi Adiwoso, in the diplomacy department premises. State Secretary Korčok appreciated the high intensity of bilateral contacts between the two countries that has been reflected in deepening political, commercial and economic and cultural relations. Both parties reiterated the interest in organizing a 4th round of the Inter-Governmental Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation in Bratislava at a convenient time. State Secretary Korčok also discussed with Ambassador Adiwoso the traditionally good standard of cooperation within international organizations and exchanged views of timely foreign policy, global as well as regional issues, including North Korea, migration and terrorism.
