    Lajčák to be received in Helsinki by President and to present hockey players with awards

    Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák will visit Finland on May 12-13, 2013 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishing Slovak-Finnish diplomatic relations and inaugurating the new premises of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki.

    National Convention on EU again creating platform for discussion on current European issues

    On Europe Day (May 9), the current challenges for Europe – as well the prospects for deepening the European integration process – were discussed at the opening plenary session of the latest installment of the National Convention on the EU, which was organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the Center for European Affairs.

    National Convent on EU re-launched

    On the occasion of Day of Europe – May 9 – at the historical building of the National Council of the Slovak Republic at Župné Námestie in Bratislava, the initial plenary session of the renewed National Convent organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic along with the Centre for European Affairs will be held this year (2013).
