Lajčák Receives New Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovakia

 “We perceive positively the decision of Kazakhstan to establish a fully-fledged representation office in Slovakia,” stated Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák after he received the designated Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic Roman Vasilenko today (14 January 2020on the occasion of the Ambassador’s presenting copies of his credentials.

 

The two representatives positively assessed the development of the Slovak-Kazakh relations and expressed their desire for a general intensification of them, especially in trade-and-commerce.  “Kazakhstan belongs among our most important partners in Central Asia,” stated the chief Slovak diplomat in this regard. The partners also touched upon the foreign policy developments in the strategically important region of Central Asia, as well as in a wider global context. At the end of the meeting the head of Slovak diplomacy wished a lot of success to the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in successfully meeting the goals of his diplomatic mission to Slovakia.
