Minister Lajčák Meets with His Bosnia and Hercegovina Counterpart

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE, Miroslav Lajčák, had a working breakfast with his counterpart Igor Crnadak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which took place today (September 6, 2019) in Bratislava. Among the main themes that they discussed were current developments in the region and the September agenda of the Slovak Chairmanship in the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

 

The chief diplomat of Bosnia and Hercegovina visited the Slovak Republic on the occasion of the ceremonial opening of the honorary consulate in Turna (in the Senec district).  “I assured my partner that Slovakia’s permanent interest is that Bosnia and Hercegovina remains internally stable, capable of carrying out reforms and contributing to finding solutions to the challenges which the country and the region of the Western Balkans have been facing,” concluded Miroslav Lajčák.
