State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Marek Eštok held talks with Anna Lührmann, Germany´s Minister of State for Europe and Climate at the Federal Foreign Office, in Berlin on 23 February 2024. In their discussion they addressed political, economic and security cooperation between Slovakia and Germany.

As part of the working visit by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic to India, the Representation Office of the Slovak Republic in New Delhi organized the Slovak- Indian forum entitled the Slovak Innovation and Technology Day on Thursday, 22 February 2024. The event was attended by 22 businessmen and representatives from Slovak institutions and more than a hundred Indian partners.

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Juraj Blanár, together with State Secretary Rastislav Chovanec and Slovak Ambassador to India Róbert Maxián, was received by Giridhar Aramane, State Secretary of the Defense Ministry of India in New Delhi today (22 February 2024). Then the representatives of the Slovak Republic also held talks with Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Marek Eštok received Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Slovakia Peter Nelson in Bratislava on 21 February 2024. The meeting attested to the high level of bilateral relations and efforts to further strengthen mutual cooperation in the political and economic areas.

The Slovak delegation opened the first day of their working visit to India (21 February 2024) with negotiations at a specialized economic forum CII India – Europe Business and Sustainability Conclave, which is organized before the main conference Raisina Dialogue by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). At the event, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Juraj Blanár together with State Secretary Rastislav Chovanec actively addressed the participants and were involved in discussions.

State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Marek Eštok represented Slovakia at the negotiations held by the leaders of European foreign affairs ministries today. He attended the session of the General Affairs Council of the EU in Brussels on 20 February 2024.

State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Marek Eštok attended the session of the Foreign Affairs Council of the EU (FAC) in Brussels on 19 January 2024. Main topics of the talks by EU foreign affairs ministers were the situation in the Middle East, as well as developments in Ukraine and the African Sahel region.

At the Munich Security Conference this year, the Slovak Republic was represented by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Marek Eštok. During the two-day work programme (16-17 February 2024) he attended individual discussions and held bilateral meetings with foreign counterparts.

State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Marek Eštok is attending the Munich Security Conference (16-17 February 2024). During the two-day work programme he met with James O´Brien, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs today (16 February 2024). The meeting was held as part of the regular contact between Slovak and US representatives.

State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Rastislav Chovanec received Nigel Baker, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at the Foreign Affairs Ministry on 15 February 2024. The topic of the meeting was Slovak-British relations with an emphasis on their economic dimension and the situation in Ukraine.
