On Monday 23 January 2023 Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Rastislav Káčer attended the session of the Foreign Affairs Council of the EU in Brussels. The main discussion topics among the EU member states ministers included the ongoing aggression of Russia against Ukraine, the EU-Ukraine summit under preparation, as well as the developments in the region of Sahel and West Africa.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Andrej Stančik, participated in a discussion on the priorities of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU in Bratislava on Wednesday, 18 January 2023.
Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Rastislav Káčer, welcomed the Joint Declaration between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU), signed today, 10 January 2023, at NATO Headquarters in Brussels by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
