Slovensko v OECD
For the first time in the history of its membership of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Slovakia held the chairmanship of the most important of its standing committees for two years. The Slovak Republic, represented by Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the OECD František Ružička, took over the chairmanship of the OECD Executive Committee in January 2022. After a particularly successful mandate, the OECD Council extended it to 2023.
On 7 and 8 June 2023, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, attended the ministerial meeting of the Council of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. The ministers discussed the future reconstruction of Ukraine, economic resilience with an emphasis on stronger growth, and innovative zero-emission technologies.
