State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Marek Eštok held talks with Anna Lührmann, Germany´s Minister of State for Europe and Climate at the Federal Foreign Office, in Berlin on 23 February 2024. In their discussion they addressed political, economic and security cooperation between Slovakia and Germany.

On 16 January 2024, Rastislav Chovanec, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Slovakia Barbara Wolf and the Executive Director of the Slovak-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peter Kompall, in Bratislava.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Marek Eštok, received Ambassador Barbara Wolf of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bratislava for an introductory visit on 10 January 2024. In addition to assessing the cooperation between the two countries to date, they also discussed important topics resonating throughout the European Union.

On 13 July 2023 State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ingrid Brocková visited Bavaria where she had discussions in Munich with Melanie Huml, State Minister for European and International Affairs of the federal state of Bavaria.
