Call for Proposals for small grants for 2024

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi, has launched the Call for Proposals for small grants for 2024.

Eligible place of implementation: Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Somalia.

The submitted projects must be related to sectors defined by the Medium-term Strategy for Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2019 – 2023 extended to 2024, namely:

  • Quality education
  • Good health
  • Good governance and civil society building
  • Food safety and agriculture
  • Infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources
  • Support for the creation of a market environment

 

Cross-cutting themes

  • Environment and climate change
  • Gender equality

 

The maximum amount of the financial support is 10 000 EUR per project.

The deadline for submission of the project proposals is 30th April 2024, 2pm. 

Please note that the project proposals should be sent both electronically to grants.nairobi@mzv.sk and in hard copy to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic: Jakaya Kikwete Road, P. O. Box 30204, 00100 Nairobi, Kenya.

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi, has launched the Call for Proposals for small grants 2023.

Eligible place of implementation: Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Somalia.

The projects have to be in line with the Mid-term Strategy for International Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic 2019 – 2023 and focus on one or more of the selected Sustainable Development Goals:

  • Quality education
  • Good health
  • Good governance and civil society building
  • Food safety and agriculture
  • Infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources
  • Support for the creation of a market environment

  • Gender equality

The maximum amount of the financial support is 10 000 EUR per each grant.

The deadline for sending the project proposals has been set up for 20th April 2023, 2pm. All the necessary information about the procedure and vocational annexes are contained in the attachments below.
