Bratislava, 3 January 2025 – In October of last year the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic established the International Operational Crisis Centre (IOCC), which is available to Slovak citizens in all time zones in the form of a telephone line 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During its first three months of operation, it handled more than a thousand phone calls.

Žilina/ Bratislava 12 October 2024 – More than 60 economic diplomats, representatives of embassies, consulates general and other workers of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic attended a three-day meeting of economic diplomats (9-11 October 2024), which followed up on the successful Export Forum in Žilina.

Žilina 8 October 2024 – Today, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Juraj Blanár and the Minister of Tourism and Sport Dušan Keketi opened the fourth edition of the Export Forum in Žilina. The largest event of economic diplomacy in Slovakia is organised by the Foreign Ministry together with the Council of Slovak Exporters. A record number of Slovak companies and public state organisations is taking part in the event this time.

Bratislava/New York/Cedar Rapids 28 September 2024 - Slovaks in the USA represent the largest Slovak community in the world. During his working visit to the United States of America, the Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanár, highlighted the strong Slovak legacy spread in the USA for several generations through expat societies, associations and the National Museum.

Bratislava 13 September 2024 – The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic supported the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Slovakia.

Bratislava, 11 September 2024 – Today, on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 in the United States of America, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Marek Eštok symbolically received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US Department of State Sonata Coulter.
