Types of Possible Projects

1. Internship in Slovakia - public servants in partner countries are encouraged to come to Slovakia to participate in professional knowledge exchange and networking, whilst strengthening mutual bilateral relationships. The maximum duration of the internship is 2 weeks.
2. Study visits to Slovakia - professionals, experts and representatives of public administration in partner countries are encouraged to come to Slovakia to acquire Slovak knowledge, experience and skills, whilst establishing and cultivating mutual relationships. Through short-term visits to Slovakia (max. 5 days including travel) they will be able to participate in professional meetings with Slovak counterparts, to understand and potentially apply the Slovak perspective in their fields.
3. Slovak expert(s) visits to partner country - experts in partner countries are encouraged to invite Slovak counterpart(s) to their country to participate in professional knowledge exchange and networking, whilst strengthening mutual expert relationships. The recommended duration of the visit is max. 5 days including travel.

Teritorial and Sectoral Priorities

Sharing Slovak Expertise is a Slovak Official Development Assistance (ODA) tool. Its primary objective is to offer and share expertise, experience and recommendations of Slovak experts on successful governance reforms and good practice in various areas of public administration where the Slovak Republic has comparative advantages.

SSE offers an opportunity to share experience of experts from various public institutions of the Slovak Republic and academia and the non-governmental sector in order to build the professional capacities of the partner country's public administration.

Project proposals should focus on topics with real impact and added value. Projects should be linked to ongoing or already implemented Slovak ODA projects to ensure continuity or "opening the door" to new cooperation and development projects.

Deadline for Submission of Project Proposals

The deadline for submission of project proposals is May 31, 2024.

The project proposals should be sent both electronically (email address: branchemb.pristina@mzv.sk) and in hard copy to the The Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic in Pristina, Selim Berisha 11, 10000 Prishtina.

All approved projects have to be implemented by November 15, 2024 at the latest.
