On November 28, 2019, Lukáš Parízek, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and Special Representative for Slovakia’s Chairmanship in the OSCE, received Bakyt Djusupov, Ambassador-Designate of the Kirgiz Republic to the Slovak Republic, with the seat in Vienna, on the occasion of receiving his credentials.

The officials made use of the meeting to evaluate the current state of the Slovak-Kirgiz relations and determine the key priorities for their further development, with the emphasis on the area of economy and trade.

“The need to focus on economic relations is more relevant than ever before. The positive development in Kirgizia makes it possible to further enhance the untapped potential of cooperation in the area of economy and trade,” emphasized Lukáš Parízek.

The partners also dealt with issues related to the OSCE Ministerial Council which will take place on 5-6 December 2019, in Bratislava.
