Slovakia’s Contribution to the World Health Organisation’s Fight against the Coronavirus

The Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations Organisation in Geneva, Juraj Podhorský, signed today (February 18, 2020) a donor agreement between the Slovak Republic and the World Health Organisation (WHO) on a financial humanitarian contribution to the fight against the coronavirus COVID-19.
 

Based on the Decision of the Government of the Slovak Republic of February 5, 2020, Slovakia will contribute to the fight against the coronavirus with the amount of 200 thousand euros. The contribution is intended to support the activities of the World Health Organisation which are relevant for the prevention, treatment, and neutralisation of the spread of the virus in the regions which are most afflicted by the epidemic.
