Slovakia thus provides for specifically targeted aid with the delivery which contains school uniforms for 700 students made in Slovakia, 700 pairs of sneakers and 224 pairs of winter shoes. The Military Support Foundation will donate a financial contribution valued at EUR 1,000 to support the education process.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Parízek expressed his appreciation for the engagement of several ministries and the resolve of his Afghan partner: “Our aid is aimed at improving living conditions. Education and the assistance to families are important factors for removing the causes of migration directly in the countries of its origin, among which is, undoubtedly, Afghanistan.”

Afghanistan is a SlovakAid partner country, where the development assistance focuses on the area of improving the quality of education. Afghanistan is the country with the lowest level of education, and therefore it is especially primary education which is the priority of the Afghan Ministry of Education.
