Investment Support of the Development of European Infrastructure

An assessment of the position before a virtual meeting of the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the Three Seas Initiative, at which the Slovak Republic will be represented by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, was the main item on the agenda of the working meeting today (24 June 2020) with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, Ľuboš Jančík. “Our ambition is to maximize the opportunities for the funding of development projects in the regional European infrastructure in transport, energy and digitalization that will improve the lives of citizens and businessmen in Slovakia,” emphasized the State Secretary.
 

The Three Seas Initiative is comprised of the following European Union states: The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria and Romania. The presidents and executive representatives of its member states meet annually at summits. This year’s summit will be hosted by Tallinn, Estonia, on 19-20 October.
