Miroslav Lajčák Receives a Parliamentary Delegation from Montenegro

Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic received today (November 25, 2019) Andrija Nikolič, Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants of the Parliament of Montenegro. The main theme of their meeting was the Montenegrin foreign policy in the context of the developments in the Western Balkans region and the process of EU integration. In this regard, Miroslav Lajčák concluded that Podgorica is a role model for the whole of the Western Balkans in the area of good neighbourhood relations and expressed support for its integration efforts. The partners positively  evaluated the development of Slovak-Montenegrin relations which,  according to Minister Lajčák, is also illustrated by this visit, which is a proof of the strengthening of the parliamentary dialogue between our two countries. “I hope that our relations will continue to intensify not only at the political level but also in other areas,” stated the chief Slovak diplomat in this regard.
