Today (18 December 2018), Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, received Anna Tomanová Makanová, the former chairwoman of the National Council of the Slovak National Minority in the Republic of Serbia. This took place on the occasion of the recent conclusion of her term in this significant position, which she had held since 2003. As an expression of recognition for her long-term activities as the head of the compatriot organisation, the minister awarded Anna Tomanová Makanová the Golden Plaque of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
