State Secretary František Ružička talked with High School Students in Lučenec

František Ružička, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, spoke with local high school students in Lučenec on 3 December 2018.

 

The discussion was organized by the Europe Direct Information Center in Lučenec in cooperation with the city of Lučenec in the context of its communication activities for 2018 under the heading Európska únia a my/# EUandME. The discussion took place in the Fenix Hall at the Lučenec city hall. The event was held in the context of #MYSMEEU (#WEAREEU), which is organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

 

The event was aimed at increasing awareness and the general knowledge about the European Union among high school students in Slovakia in an interactive way. Its aim was to acquaint young people with the European Union and its positive impact on the everyday life of EU citizens.

 

The event was also attended by Monika Smolková, a European Parliament MP, Ladislav Miko, Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Slovakia, Róbert Hajšel, Director of the European Parliament Office in Slovakia, and Alexandra Pivková, Mayor of the city of Lučenec.
