Minister Lajčák sends telegram of condolences regarding the air tragedy in the French Alps
Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, today (24 March) sent telegrams of condolences to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany and to José Manuel García-Margallo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, regarding the victims of the crash of an Airbus 320 plane in the French Alps, with 148 people on board.
“With profound sadness I received the information about today’s tragedy of the plane flown by the airline Germanwings that has claimed many lives. Let me, at this difficult moment, express to you and all survivors of the victims of the tragedy my deep condolences,” wrote Minister Lajčák in the telegrams to his German and Spanish counterparts.
