State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Igor Slobodník met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People´s Republic of China Lin Lin today (14 December) and discussed the political dialogue and all-encompassing development of relations at both bilateral level, as well as within other formats (V4, EU). Economic cooperation issues, including the need for diversification of the trade-and-commerce exchange, science and research support and development of the areas with higher added value – for example, electro-mobility, nuclear energy and the food industry – were the main areas covered in the talks. They agreed on the need for more quality, intensive and concrete presentation of opportunities for the Slovak Republic in front of potential investors in the People´s Republic of China.
