Slovakia and Israel sign agreement on diplomatic employees

Bratislava (7 November) - Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of SR, Miroslav Lajčák, and Ambassador of Israel to SR, Zvi Aviner Vapni, signed an Agreement between the Government of the Slovak Republic and the Government of the State of Israel on Employment of Family Members  of Diplomatic Mission and Consular Office Staff, in Bratislava today. Signing this agreement ranks among a series of actions that attest to the good relations between the countries.

The content of the agreement is to specify the procedure in employing family members of the diplomatic mission or consular office staff in the receiving state on the basis of reciprocity.

The Slovak Republic has signed similar agreements with the Netherlands, Canada, Slovenia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Turkey and the United States of America.
