Anniversary of prominent translator of Slovak literature in India

The Embassy of the Slovak Republic was pleased to hold dinner celebration for the birthday anniversary of Dr. Amrit Mehta, who is Indian distinguished translator and publisher. During his career he spread out the knowledge about contemporary Slovak literature and culture to the local audience. He introduced the Hindi translations of the writings by several renowned authors such are M. Hvorecký, M. Solotruk, J. Banáš a P. Jaroš. Slovak Ambassador, H. E. Zigmund Bertok,  expressed his gratitude for the literary contributions and awarded him the congratulatory letter by Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.
