The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki represents and protects the interests of the Slovak Republic and its citizens in Finland and Estonia. The Embassy monitors domestic and foreign policy developments and actively seeks to develop and further deepen bilateral cooperation with Finland and Estonia in the political, security, economic, commercial, scientific, technical, cultural and other spheres.

The important part of the Embassy's activities are the support and promotion of bilateral trade, the provision and mediation of information about the Slovak Republic. The Embassy in Helsinki, through the Consular Department, provides consular protection to citizens of the Slovak Republic who find themselves in a state of emergency or need assistance in securing their rights and legitimate interests.
