Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Slovakia in Moscow. Here you will find basic information about us, our mission, individual parts of the embassy and their activities. 

The military attack by the Russian Federation on our common neighbour Ukraine on 24 February 2022 fundamentally changed the relations of the European Union including Slovakia with Russia. Our embassy and the Slovak Institute have to reduce our activities, or even to suspend them in relation to the Russian Federation. 

With limited staffing, we provide only the basic functions of the diplomatic mission, including assistance to Slovak citizens in need. A valid travel recommendation currently does not recommend to Slovak citizens travelling to Russia and staying in Russia, unless it is necessary.
