Our Mission

The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ankara is covering Slovak diplomatic and consular affairs in the Republic of Türkiye. Our mission is in particular:

to protect and promote the interests and rights of the Slovak Republic, its subjects and citizens;
to maintain and develop a comprehensive political dialogue and friendly relations with Türkiye, reflecting the foreign policy interests of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Republic's membership in the EU and the Allied commitments;
to provide consular protection and assistance to the citizens of the Slovak Republic;
to present Slovakia as a progressive, modern and successful country;
to seek out opportunities for development in the area of economic, scientific, technical, educational, sports and cultural cooperation.
