Sharing Slovak Expertise

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi, has launched the Call for Proposals for the development tool Sharing Slovak Expertise (SSE) provided to partners in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Somalia in the year 2024.

The types of activities offered by SSE are follows:

  • Internship in the Slovak Republic
  • Study visits to Slovak Republic
  • Slovak Expert(s) Visits to partner country

 

The primary objective of the SSE is to offer and share expertise, experience and recommendations of Slovak experts on successful governance reforms and good practice in various areas of public administration where the Slovak Republic has comparative advantages.

SSE offers an opportunity to share experience of experts from various public institutions of the Slovak Republic and academia and the non-governmental sector in order to build the professional capacities of the partner country's public administration.

Activity proposals must be submitted to the Slovak Embassy by May 31, 2024.

All approved activities have to be implemented by November 15, 2024.

The application form must be sent:

  • In electronic form by email to the contact point at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi: grants.nairobi@mzv.sk
  • and in hard copy to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic: Jakaya Kikwete Road, P. O. Box 30204, 00100 Nairobi Kenya.
